The past couple of summers, we have focused on Christ-centered "exposure" opportunities, and this summer will be no different. As summer approaches, Seeds of Hope is excited to announce a series of enriching experiences designed to empower and inspire the youth in our community to walk more fully in the abundant life God has for them. This year, we are organizing three opportunities that promise to leave a lasting impact on the lives of young people. Your generous donations will enable us to provide these transformative experiences.
First, we are taking a group of youth to attend the National African American Mission Council Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. This conference is a unique opportunity for young individuals to connect with leaders, engage in meaningful discussions, and explore the rich tapestry of African American history and culture as it relates to world missions. They will grow in their understanding of Jesus' heart for the world and His passion for all to know Him. Our hope and prayer is that they would become leaders in their own community and world!
Second, we are gearing up to host our first sports camp at Seeds of Hope. This camp will focus on developing skills in tennis, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, volleyball, track, and basketball. We have some of the best, Jesus-loving coaches ready to pour into 100 youth in our town, not just instilling values in physical activity, but also sharing the importance of finding our identity in Jesus through daily devotions.
Third, we are thrilled to be taking youth back to the Bible and Missionary Conference at Beulah Beach on Lake Erie for the fourth year in a row. This is always a highlight of the summer, and the Lord has continued to meet us there. It is also where two of our youth were baptized a couple of years ago.
